The Robertson Street Project, a 42-bed hostel in the London Borough of Lambeth, has a move-on focus so that all residents have a plan and destination to facilitate a move to more independent and appropriate accommodation.
The hostel provides medium-term accommodation and specialist support and services to people who have experienced homelessness and are over 40, as well as two emergency bedspaces.
Weekly GP and nurse clinics, monthly orthopaedic clinic, and regular visits from recovery workers and other healthcare providers, help residents with their physical and mental health and substance misuse needs.
The project is part of the Lambeth Vulnerable Adult Pathway.
